tips tricks Late 2008 Macbook Tips & TricksI’ve been using these shortcuts for a while and thought it was time to share them with the Mac community. 1. To go back and forward in Safari, hold down the trackpad button with four fingers, and slide to the left or right.

2. Use the four finger swipe in order to bring up the open applications bar, then use two fingers to scroll through and choose your open application, and then use the four finger tap on the trackpad to bring the application to the foreground.

3. You can use three fingers on the trackpad to scroll through your list of emails in Mail.

Viewing PDF using Quicklook

1. Pinch and expand to activate full screen, and do the opposite to deactivate full screen. A variation of this is used when viewing a pdf in Preview.

2. Use 3 finger swipe to go to the next page or previous page. 3 finger swipe also works when viewing a pdf in Preview.
