iPod Touch, Macbook/Macbook Pro, and 1Password

Tips and Tricks - January 20th, 2009

ipod touch iPod Touch, Macbook/Macbook Pro, and 1PasswordI just purchased an iPod Touch on Friday, and I am in love with it.  For me, I use the touch as a PDA for email, calendar, contacts, and social networking.  However, when I was trying to sync my iPod Touch with 1Password, I was having some issues.  As I was doing some research online, I realized that other people were having trouble syncing as well.

So, for some strange reason, I decided to try syncing with my white Macbook just in case it had something to do with a wireless issue with my new late 2008, 15″ Macbook Pro.  Then I followed the steps I had followed previously, and it immediately picked up my Macbook within seconds.  Since I will no longer be the owner of the white Macbook, I had to think of a way to make it work with my new Macbook Pro.  So then, the logical thing to do was to attach an ethernet cable to my wireless router and then attach it to my Mac.  Just like it had done for the white Macbook, the iPod Touch immediately picked up my Macbook Pro.  If this has been an issue for you, maybe my solution will help you as well.
